Spring Fever is upon us. A brief errand near the park turned into a lovely walk along a chain of lakes, watching birds gather materials for their nests, enjoying the fragrance of the first blossoms and gathering wild onion flowers for our pasta dinner.
This is the view from what we thought was our "secret" bench. While we were sitting, we saw two women coming towards us, one of whom turned out to be a friend of mine. They asked if they could look under our bench, explaining that they were "letterboxing", which we had amazingly never heard of. After their explanation and looking up more once we got home, we knew that it would be the perfect addition to our outdoor adventures.
